Butterfly Brigade – Nightly Zoom Singalong with Songs of Being Human

Join us any weeknight for 15 minutes of community singing, from 6:30 to 6:45 pm Pacific time (that’s 7:30 Mountain, 8:30 Central, 9:30 Eastern). Songs led by Sheniqua Trotman, Grisha Stewart, and occasionally guest songleaders.

We started Butterfly Brigade in February, 2026 and have been singing ever since!

It originally started as songs of resistance, and we came to realize how much folks really need songs to keep us going. So while we are heavily focused on songs of care and community, these are all in service of liberation for all.

We meet in Zoom, so you can sing from anywhere. Feel free to bring friends!

The graphic here is publicly shareable. Thanks!

Scroll down for joining instructions and some recordings.

This is free and open to everyone, but we can’t just share the Zoom link, so the best way to join in is to become a member. If you’re a member, log in and you’ll see the link on this page.

Here are some recordings of some previous Butterfly Brigades hosted by Sheniqua Trotman and Grisha Stewart. We also love having guest songleaders – contact us if you have songs to share or to request a certain songleader.

Here are some examples of songs you’ll encounter!

We Are In This Together – Sheniqua Trotman

What Am I Holding? – Grisha Stewart

No One is Getting Left Behind – Joshua Blaine, sung by Sheniqua Trotman

Get Big Money Out – Grisha Stewart

This is a good one to sing on a voicemail to your representatives!
